CRISPY BABYCORN Baby Corn is so versatile that it can be used in making starters or main course.. Here is a simple and quick way to make a yummy snack with minimum ingredients and time!  Ingredients: Baby Corn - 10-15 Nos. slit in the middle and chop to 1" sized pieces Onion - 1 Big Tomato - 2 Medium  Corn Flour - 2 tbsp All purpose flour - 1 tbsp Green chillies - 4 finely chopped Ginger Garlic paste - 2 tsp Soy Sauce - little Vinegar - little Tomato Ketchup - 2 tbsp Spring onions - a small bunch Coriander - a few sprigs [only the leaf part] Oil for deep frying Salt to taste Method: Take a bowl and mix the corn flour, all purpose flour 2 green chillies [finely chopped or paste] salt to taste. Khandvi - A Gujrathi snack made from Besan - Low Cal Recipe

Khandvi is a Gujrathi delicacy. Its a healthy snack as it involves very less usage of oil and yet is very filling as its made of Chickpea flour or besan. Its a snack which needs a bit of practice to get the consistency right and also quick hands to spread n' roll the ready mixture when its done. Since its not very spicy kids love them as well! Goes well as a tea snack. To Serve : 4 Time Req: 20-25mins INGREDIENTS Besan/Chickpea flour - 1 n 1/4 cup Turmeric - a pinch Green chillies - 2-3 [as per taste] Ginger - 1tsp [smooth paste] Baking Soda - a small pinch Yogurt/well beaten curds - 2 cups Water or buttermilk - 1 cup Salt - to taste C oconut - a handful [optional] Fresh Coriander - a few sprigs finely chopped Mustard seeds - 1 tsp Sesame seeds - 1 tsp [optional] Hing - a pinch Curry leaves HOW TO MAKE: In a large bowl, sieve the flour, soda, salt. CHATPATA SALAD

So you are low on time?? ...Also you wanna have a healthy snack cum starter...??Diet conscious??Answer is CHATPATA SALAD :-)Anytime,anywhere..just a few veggies needed!Had prepared this when we went on a trip with my sister's family. Ingredients: Cucumber -1 Onion -1 Tomato-2 Chillies -1 or 2 Lemon-1 Carrot -1 Salt Pepper coriander leaves - 1-2 strands Garam masala(optional)-1/4 tsp Chilly powder(optional)-1/4 tsp   How to make: Slice Cucumber,Onion and Tomato and arrange it in a plate as shown in the picture above. Add shredded carrot on top of other veggies. Cut chillies and coriander and garnish on to it. Add salt/pepper/Garam masala/chilly powder to taste. Sprinkle lemon juice on to it .(Plus 1-2 lemon pieces can be added as decoration) Makes a yummy healthy eat!  Preparation time :10-15 minutes
